Elearning has become the method of training most used in today's business world. Many of today's international corporations view elearning as an innovative and essential tool for enhancing the growth of their companies and as an extremely efficient method of training employees, enabling them to obtain and develop the skills needed to compete on a global scale. Employees welcome this method of education with open arms, taking into account that elearning is the most convenient way of obtaining a wider range of qualifications, which do nothing other than help them achieve greater success in their careers. Elearning can be conducted in realtime and test results can be reviewed which makes a company more confident that their employees are familiar with their assigned learning materials. Besides this, employees can return to the material at anytime and review it even after completion of the course. In the case that employees have any suggestions concerning the course, they can share this information with their employer and the course can be easily modified at low cost in a relatively short ammount of time. The use of elearning as well as other web-based tools eliminates the possiblility of disorganization and possible losses caused by time off for vatations or sickness. Reports show that in 2007, 80% of company training was conducted thorugh the use of the internet.
